Meet The Team
Youth Mindfulness is a charity devoted to developing and delivering mindfulness programmes for children, adolescents and young adults. We believe that all young people have within themselves the capacity to be aware, kind, resilient and courageous, and that with the practice of mindfulness these strengths can be awakened and cultivated. Our team has over 40 years’ experience in practising mindfulness. We’ve taught mindfulness to 1,000s of children and young people as well as 100s of adults.
Drawing on various mindfulness traditions as well as the latest research in neuroscience and psychology, we seek to develop programmes that make a genuine difference in the lives of young people by adopting an approach that aims to be both fun and exciting, as well as meaningful and transformative.
